1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

Email address, display name, and profile photo (optional).

1.2 Usage Data

Hunt participation history, photo submissions, scores, badges earned, and leaderboard positions.

1.3 Location Data

GPS coordinates collected at the time of photo submission for location-verified challenges. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.

1.4 Photos

Images you submit for challenge verification. Photos are processed by Google Cloud Vision API for content analysis and stored in cloud storage.

1.5 Device Information

Device type, operating system version, app version, and crash reports for debugging and performance improvement.

1.6 Payment and Subscription Data

When you subscribe to PhotoFun Premium, payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. PhotoFun does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials. Stripe handles all payment card data in accordance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

(a) Operate the App and verify photo challenge submissions. (b) Calculate scores, maintain leaderboards, and award badges. (c) Send push notifications about verification results, streaks, and new hunts. (d) Improve the App through anonymized analytics and crash reporting. (e) Enforce our Terms of Service and moderate content.


3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with:

(a) Google Cloud Platform (photo verification via Vision API, data storage via Firebase). (b) Apple and Google (for App Store distribution and payment processing). (c) Law enforcement when required by law or to protect safety.


4. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Photo submissions are retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting legal@photofun.live or using the in-app account deletion feature.


5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data, restrict processing, data portability, and opt out of certain data uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact legal@photofun.live.


6. Children's Privacy

PhotoFun does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.


7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase security rules, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.


8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of material changes to this Privacy Policy through the App or via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
